Hodgson, their top draft choice from this year, to an entry-level contract on
Sunday.
The 18-year-old Hodgson, the 10th overall pick, was a member of the Ontario
Hockey League's Brampton Battalion during the 2007-08 season. He ranked among
the top 20 in OHL scoring with 85 points and led the Battalion in goals with
40 in 68 games. He also notched five goals in five playoff games before
Brampton was eliminated in the first round.
