Denver, CO (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Former NFL running back Travis Henry has been
arrested on federal cocaine charges.
Jeffrey D. Sweetin, the special agent in charge of the Rocky Mountain Division
of the Drug Enforcement Administration, announced the arrest on Wednesday.
Henry, along with James Mack, was arrested Tuesday after a multi-kilogram
cocaine transaction that occurred in Centennial, Colorado. Both subjects are
being held pending the filing of federal drug charges in U.S. District Court
in Denver.
Henry was released by the Denver Broncos on June 2 after rushing for 691 yards
and four touchdowns in 12 games last season.
Over parts of seven NFL seasons, with stints in Buffalo, Tennessee and Denver,
the 2002 Pro Bowl selection has rushed for 6,086 yards and 38 touchdowns.
